Automotive

Retrotech's designs and equipment reside in North American automotive plants both in the major assembly operations as well as the tier one suppliers. ASRS designs managing engines, stampings, and sub-assemblies are delivering critical materials to assembly operations in the US and Canada.

Saab ASRS System - Saab needed an efficient, cost effective way to handle the 55-gallon drums they used to store paint inventory required for their automobiles. In 1985, they selected an ACTIV System to solve this need, and today ACTIV is still meeting Saab’s needs to simplify their drum handling storage and retrieval operation.

Aerospace

Retrotech's software and equipment has been delivered to both military and civilian aerospace manufacturing and repair operations. Equipment controls to track kitting for assembly as well as emergency requests by serial number have been stock and trade for Retrotech delivered ASRS designs.

Metal Fabrication

Retrotech's ASRS designs in large-scale steel tooling equipment WIP storage as well as HVAC kitting and assembly are delivering value after many years of service. Software and material handling equipment for kitting operations for meters and appliances has been in service for over 15 years.

Military

Retrotech's ASRS software and controls designs have delivered mission critical parts and supplies to USAF and Naval Air depots around the country. Absolute tracking and control of engine rebuild components and kits have made Retrotech a successful supplier for over 15 years.

Navy Stacker System - This application discusses the ASKARS project, which involved the modernization of two Naval Aviation Depot sites—Cherry Point, NC and Jacksonville, FL. RETROTECH Solution—Cherry Point - Replace existing Supreme mini-load stackers with new Munck Autech mini-load stackers.

Third Party Logistics & Warehouse Distribution

Retrotech's equipment supports food services order fulfillment operations. Man-up and fully automated picking designs have been delivered using Retrotech software and controls. ACTIV system's design provides storage, staging and pick from pallet replenishment for food services DC operations. High turn consolidation of multiple manufacturers at a distribution center has allowed many SKUs and order make-ups to be delivered in this chilled setting.

	Salvesen Distribution - Christian Salvesen operates as a 3rd party logistics (3PL) refrigerated/frozen food Distribution Center serving Northern Europe. The ACCESS technology in this application is a single rack-supported system that was installed in 1997.
	Kraft Refrigerated Mixing - The Mixed Pallet Picking area is also located within the ACTIV footprint. Here, under direction of the WMS, full and partial pallets are converted into mixed pallets.
